Theatre Arts: Along with a B.A. in Drama, I have 35 years experience in community and educational theatre, including puppet theatre. (Please visit my Theatre Arts page.) I have also reviewed 60 plus books in various aspects of dramaturgy for Library Journal.
Social Sciences: My M.A. in Organizational Communication led me to specialize in social science research.I taught advanced college-level research strategies in communication, psychology, and education (1998-2011).
Library & Information Science: I earned a Masters of Library Science (M.L.S.) in 1998 and worked as an academic librarian for thirteen years. The majority of my publications and presentations from that period focused on research strategies and information literacy instruction.
Hobbies: My hobbies include instrumental music (I have played more than a dozen instruments), playwriting, fiction prose writing, and a life-long love of model railroading & historic trains, both American and British. I'm also a football fan and have worked the sidelines for Div. III college games (2006-2010).
